Adventure Segway – Expedition to the Northern Lights!

We’re delighted to bring back this popular experience! Jump on board your own Segway glider and be transported on an amazing after-dark ride to see the Northern Lights! This 90 minute adventure includes an awesome special effects show, an all-action skills assault course decorated with Christmas cheer and a glide to look out over Plymouth Sound.

North Pole Training Camp

Check into an exquisitely decorated old log barn overcome with Ivy. Your magical adventure starts with an exciting special effects show as you battle wind and fog on your journey to the North Pole Training Camp to complete your instruction!

The Arctic Circle Challenge

See hundreds of twinkling lights illuminate starry nights as you venture around the Arctic Circle – a fun all-action assault course featuring precision based challenges! Here, dozens of Christmas trees, music and lights inspire a sense of childlike wonder, reminding us what this special season is all about.

Journey to the Northern Lights!

Turn on your headlight and prepare to venture on a 1 mile ride to the gardens. You’ll disembark at a spectacular balcony overlooking Plymouth Sound and look in awe as dynamic patterns and curtains of coloured lights float in the ebony sky above you!

As you exit into the Christmas Courtyard, why not also include Marshmallow toasting and a warming hot chocolate afterwards? Yum!

Location

This experience starts from Adventure Segway, which is permanently based year-round in the Barrow Centre car park. It’s also only a 5 minute walk from the Dry Walk car park.

Rider Restrictions

Participants need to be:
– at least 6 stone in weight (39kg),
