Cremyll Ferry

Frequent and direct passenger ferries depart up to every 15 minutes from central Plymouth across two convenient locations. This beautiful journey takes between 5 and 8 minutes. On arrival at Cremyll Quay simply follow the illuminated ferry-link path (10 minute walk) to admissions.

Royal William Yard Marina

Purchase your ticket online, in advance!
This is highly recommended because you can guarantee travel to Mount Edgcumbe at a particular time. Your return trip is entirely flexible – catch any ferry home.

From Royal William Yard:
Departures every 30 minutes at 00 and 30 past the hour.

From Cremyll Quay:
Departures every 30 minutes at 15 and 45 past the hour.
The last ferry leaves at 9.45pm in December and 8.45pm in January.

Arrive early, queue up and pay on board.
Please be aware that there may be a significant queue on nights in late December.

From Admirals Hard:
Departures every 30 minutes at 15 and 45 past the hour.

From Cremyll Quay:
Departures every 30 minutes at 00 and 30 past the hour.
The last ferry to Admirals Hard leaves at 6.30pm Mon-Fri, 7.00pm on Sat and 6.00pm on Sun. Want to stay later? No problem – simply catch the Royal William Yard ferry back instead.

If you wish to drive to the park, make your journey hassle free by purchasing a parking ticket in advance. This will get you close to admissions and all the action!

PLEASE NOTE
As with any historical location, parking at Mount Edgcumbe is limited and subject to capacity. If you turn up without a parking ticket we may have to turn you away at the park entrance.

Disabled Parking
We have 6 disabled parking spaces located outside the Stables Courtyard. You can also purchase these spaces in advance online for £3 per vehicle. On arrival, please show us your Blue badge.

Pick-up/drop off
This is located just inside the park’s main entrance about 100m from the Stables Courtyard.

Coaches and larger vehicles
Please call us on 0371 789 2000 so that we can make arrangements for your arrival.

City Bus

By Bus

If you live locally consider catching the bus to us. Service 70/70a/70b all come here and go via Royal Parade in the City Centre, Stoke Village, Torpoint, Anthony, Millbrook, Kingsand and Cawsand. On arrival at Cremyll Quay simply follow the illuminated ferry-link path (10 minute walk) to admissions.

Alternatively catch a bus to Royal William Yard and then catch a ferry to the park from Admirals Hard or Royal William Yard – both just 5 minutes walk from the bus stop. Ferries depart every 15 minutes to Wonder Nights.
